Grey Days

The last two days are a blur. I've been feeling very yucky.
I've been writing in my journal, a little bit on my paper,
"Coaching Writers with Chronic Illness", and a few emails.
I haven't kept track of the number of pages.

But I had an appointment with a manager of finance at a
community center, which resulted in the potential for
tax-deductible receipts for any donations given to my
Trust Fund. That's encouraging.

Today I submitted a goal of 30 pages for the Book-in-a-Week
challenge next week -- 4 pages a day and a bit. :-)

Today is a grey, rainy day, and I would have liked to see
the sun, but it didn't seem to rise here...however, it's
not completely dark, so it's around somewhere. :-)

The few days I've been depressed, probably something to
do with the weather, several allergic reactions, as well
as isolation.

But last evening I did a little bit of designing and
colouring with coloured pencils. Little Louise likes
to colour. :-)

Writing Goal

My writing goal is 1000 words a day or 5000 words a week. That is 20 pages.

Let's see how I do. :-)

Don't worry--all my writing won't be posted to this blog.

It's a new year and it's time to hunker down to do some serious writing. Sometimes, though, my best writing is done in email. I wonder whether other people feel the same way. There is something about having an attentive audience to help me write what I'm thinking. However, my journal likes to hold private contemplation.

For Little Louise's birthday, I gifted myself with Max Lucado's inspiring book, God Thinks You're Wonderful! Great little tidbits to read each day and humorous drawings by Chris Shea.
